Papua New Guinea and Indonesia have signed an agreement to enable educational program exchanges between both countries. Minister for Higher Education Research Science and Technology, Don Polye says the purpose of this partnership is to advocate the importance of higher education in improving the lives of the people of Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. Minister Polye says through this MOU the Higher Education sector in PNG and Indonesia will be looking to align their higher education regulatory sector which will lead to mutual recognition of qualifications , and this will enable more international collaboration and mobility.
But importantly, Minister Polye says this MOU creates more opportunities for partnerships between PNG and Indonesia higher learning institutions in areas of mutual interest in teaching learning research and innovation. Kalang News/PNGfacts Also read Comments are closed.
