Indonesian President Joko Widodo arrived in the country this morning to hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister, James Marape. President Widodo arrived at the Jacksons International Airport in Port Moresby after completing his official visit to Australia. Among issues to be discussed whilst in PNG, include that on West Papua, border security, people-to-people and economic relations, focusing more on enhancing trade relations between PNG and Indonesia. President Widodo will also officially launch the first commercial direct flight by Citilink Indonesia, from Denpasar to Port Moresby. Meanwhile PNG's Goovernor General Grand Chief Sir Bob Dadae met President of Indonesia Joko Widodo at Government House this morning. President Widodo paid a courtesy call on the Governor General shortly after his arrival in Port Moresby.
