1. PNG Kumuls 10 beat Fiji Bati 0 (first 40 mins) 2. Australian Kangaroos 20 beat PNG Kumuls 4 (second 40 mins) 3. Australian Kangaroos 18 beat Fiji Bati 0 ( final 40 mins) The PNG KUMULs took on Fiji Bati yesterday at ANZ Stadium in the TRI – Nations Series with the hope to topple the Bati and the kangaroo’s for the title. Just 10 minutes into the first 40 minutes the KUMULS did not waste time creating an amazing gap for Captain David Mead who scored the opening try for the PNG Kumuls. Adding more pressure for the Fiji Bati the Kumuls did not let the Bati’ s stand a chance when they scored the second try by Luke Page with an outstanding conversion from Ase Boas bring the score to 10 points - nil in the first 40 minutes. Into the second test PNG KUMULS went up against the Australian Kangaroos. The Kangaroos scored an opening try by Tom Troboehvich with a missed conversion from James Maloney and not far from the first try Josh Menso scored a second try with a great successful conversion by James Maloney bringing the score 10 points to nil. Not letting the Kangaroos get away PNG Kumuls came back hard with Rhys Martin scoring with a missed conversion bringing the PNG Kumuls 4 points to 10. With less than 10 minutes to go Dane Gagai from the Kangaroos scored with an unsuccessful conversion from James Maloney.
