By Kombuk Korop There must be a human resource audit in the Enga Provincial Government public servants restructure. The public service machinery in Enga Province must be audited . In most cases, several people are still unattached but still on payroll. Some old people are now becoming ineffective due to age. They must be given a golden handshake to go home. So many incompetent people are occupying public offices not on merits. They have no good qualifications for the job. The service delivery mechanism is spoilt by this guys because they dont know their duty statement. Governor, you said the formet PNC led Government was yours and you brought Peter O'Neill several times to the province.
Now, Governor, you say its Hela Government and you have been instrumental in forming this Government. It's now Marabe/ Steven Government. Its Pangu with Governor's People's Party. Can you now do the right thing by pumping money where the mouth is? The positions in the Green House were all advertised. All Public servants in Enga are now unattached. Now Governor, please find the money with your National Government and activate the applications collecting dust at HR section. The HR section must appoint candidates on merits and right qualifications. Only through this the public service machinery will be effective and efficient. Only when the Human Resource section retires and retrenches the weary public servants and recruits good energetic qualified public servant the delivery of public services in Enga will be effective. The three Rs must be implemented now. Retirement, retrenchment and recruitment. This is a new year 2020 and the advertised positions which was screened and selected in 2018 July must be activated and implemented. The is a genuine appeal and our prayer by the Enga people now to the Grand Chief Sir Peter Ipatas for a effective and efficient Government service delivery in the province.
