Western Highlands Province will go for an imminent lockdown by Monday the 18th of October, 2021. This was revealed by Western Highlands Provincial Police Commander Chief Inspector Jacob Kamiak. Kamiak told NBC Western Highlands that Western Highlands is the fourth high-risk province in the country for Covid 19 must go for a lockdown in order to contain the spread of the virus where it's mostly spread when people move around. He also says the decision will be made effective after the Western Highlands Provincial Covid 19 Coordinating Committee and stakeholders meet tomorrow.
