Papua New Guinea Prime Minister Marape has proposed for an Undisclosed Wealth Act to be passed in April before the country heads to the polls. The Prime Minister has tasked the Attorney General to work on this important Act to improve the public service mechanism. ''In April I wish to deliver the Undisclosed Wealth Act so that as taxpayers you have the prerogative to ask where do the public servants or politician get his or her K10 million from,'' said Marape. Meanwhile, Prime Minister James Marape says politics has eroded the functions of the public service over the last 46 years
He says this has paved the way for complacency and corruption to become cancer in the public service. Mr Marape made these remarks when addressing the one day Joint Ministers and Governors conference in Port Moresby yesterday.
