The court case against Police Commissioner Tom Kulunga on the suspension of four police investigators has been further adjourned to March.
The matter filed by Opposition Leader Belden Namah went before the Waigani National Court on Tuesday. Justice Catherine Davani initially adjourned the case last month, after other cases were filed, seeking to arrest or stop arrest of various other people connected to the Paul Paraka issue. The further adjournment to the end of March, is to allow Opposition lawyer Alois Jerewai time, to farewell their legal team leader the later Ambassador Peter Donigi in Wewak. Justice Davani had advised parties including Kulunga, O'Neill, Don Polye, Minister James Marape, the State and police to handle the matter with care as it is sensitive. She says all the cases are related and will be dealt with one at a time. NBC Comments are closed.
