The People’s National Congress Party thanks Hon. Richard Maru, MP, for his contribution to the party and Government since his election in 2012, and wishes him the best for the future. In deciding it is his time to move on, PNC knows Mr Maru will continue be a hard-working Member for his people of Yangoru-Saussia. Mr Maru can now follow up on his new political arrangements that he said in his press statement he will reveal in the coming weeks. With the four-year anniversary of the Return of Writs being 29 July 2021, there remains six months for change to take place if that is the will of the Parliament on behalf of the people of Papua New Guinea.
This will enable Members to use the remaining time in this term of Parliament to correct the numerous mistakes of the past almost two years of faltering and failures. All Members of Parliament are now awaiting the outcome of the current matter before the Supreme Court. Statement Next : Maru Quits PNC Party Comments are closed.
