Representatives of the National Doctors' Association are in a closed-door meeting with the prime minister, over their petition to remove Health Secretary, Pascoe Kase. Mr Kase's recent sidelining of two executive directors at the Health Department, and the constant medicine shortages in the country are among other contributing factors for the doctors' call. Secretary Kase told NBC News today, he had called for members of the association to meet with him to talk over the issue, however, that has not eventuated. The meeting is underway this hour at the prime minister's office at Manasupe Haus at Waigani. NBC News/PNGfacts Next : PNG PM Marape Wants Sir Julius Featured On K100 Bank Note Comments are closed.
