Government was put into an awkward position while answering to serious and hurtful Budget Cuts to Church run organization when Health Minister Michael Malabag admitted that such was caused by the current economic situation but was mainly focused on wages for staff working for Church run organizations rather than the normal service provided. This response according to Opposition Members contradicted what the PM had delivered earlier on. Malabag was responding to Oro Governor, Gary Juffa’ s questions with regards to Health Budget cuts and two other promised construction projects which are yet to be completed. A heated argument between Juffa and Ijivitari MP, David ARORE erupted after the MP had thrown a comment to Juffa while he was directing his questions to Malabag. The two continued even after the Deputy Speaker Aide Ganasi has told both leaders to respect the house. Also joining in with a Supplementary question to Mr Juffa’s questions was Lae MP, Loujaya Kouza who also asked why Unions and citizens were meeting at Unagi Oval and Jack Pidik Park awaiting a Government response to their petition.
