Two Japanese Naval Ships under their training command will be visiting East New Britain from the 26th to the 29 September, 2019. The Japanese Training Squadron under the command of Rear Admiral Daisuke Kazimoto is currently conducting overseas training cruise in the Pacific. The overseas training include 580 members and 190 newly commissioned naval officers. The purpose of the training is to develop leadership skills of these newly commissioned naval officers in practical maritime environment and to allow members to study the naval forces as well as develop global awareness and build friendship.
