Meantime, Hevi Lift Headquarter in Singapore, has expressed its sincere condolences on behalf of the company's management in P-N-G, to the families of the passengers and crew of the Twin Otter aircraft, that crashed on approach to Port Moresby.
A company spokesperson said, they regret the accident and are willing to assist families of those who died and the survivors. According to the spokesperson, this is the third time such serious incident has occurred involving HeviLift aircraft, over its 20 years of operations in PNG. Another similar incident which occurred in 2012 in one of the Highlands province's that killed 3 passengers. Details of the other incident is not made known, however the third is the one involving the twin otter that went down on Saturday killing at least 4 four passengers out of the 9 on board. Hevi Lift is a privately owned airline company, based in Singapore and it has been operating mostly in the Pacific region with PNG being the main country of operation. Meantime, the company said it will conduct a thorough investigation and is cooperating with all relevant authorities to determine the cause. Comments are closed.
