DIGICEL will extend its “Top Up and Win Mega Cash” promotion because of the life-changing impact it has had on the lives of the K100,000 winners. Two people have each won K100,000 in the past two weeks - a mother-of-two from Port Moresby and a first-year university student from Buka. Eighteen others each won K1000. Digicel has already paid out K218,000 in the first two draws. The winners are drawn every Monday at 5.35pm live on TVWAN. The competition is open to Digicel customers who buy either a K3.30 or K5.50 flex card, or who Top Up with K3.30 or more using electronic top-up machines. “The promotion has changed the lives of its major winners,” head of consumer affairs Khatter Fehmi. “Digicel customers demonstrate their loyalty to us on a daily basis and we are pleased to provide them with an opportunity to win cash.” “The promotion selects 10 random phone numbers, which are called in order until someone answers. The first person who answers the phone receives K100,000, while a consolation prize of K1000 is given to the remaining nine people.”
