The government needs a proper system in place to sort out delays in teachers fortnightly payments and hence Waigani has taken it upon itself for its failure in delivering teachers pays in a timely fashion. Education Minister Nick Kuman said while a proper system is been sought by his department, he has called on teachers, Teaching Services Commission and Provincial Education Heads to be effective as well to reduce issues faced by teachers in respective provinces. He said in the future teachers should be able to check their pays via smart phones.
