Madang Teachers college is located few kilometers outside of the tourist town of Madang . The college is a boarding school and  run by the PNG Government. It is amalgamated to the University of Goroka. It is one of the teachers colleges that trains college students to become primary school teachers. The college offers diploma programs in primary teaching. 
The Entry Requirements for this college are:
- all C grades or above in all the subjects studied at Grade 12.
- Non school leavers must have good marks with C grades or above on the matriculation certificates. A non school leaver application must be filled as submitted to the college around July, August or September annually.

Holy Trinity  Teachers College is a teacher training institute for primary schools. It is located 5 km away from Mt Hagen city, Papua New Guinea. 

The college is run by the Catholic Mission.

Enga Teachers College is a teacher training institute for primary schools. The college
 started operations inside a lodge room in January 2011.
The teachers college started from scratch. It began its academic year without a building of its own and was hosted by the Irelya Primary School.

However, with the help of Governor Peter Ipatas  the college has built  several classrooms and staff duplexes.

Enga Governor Peter Ipatas and his former Education Advisor and now Wabag MP Robert Ganim, who were the forces behind the establishment of the college, had greater vision of the institution as it was not an ordinary college they had established.

Sacred Heart Teacher College  is a teacher training institute for primary school teachers. It is located outside Port Moresby  about 30 minutes drive from Jacksons International Airport. The college was established by the government of Papua New Guinea with the help of funding from the European Union. 

The college is run by the catholic mission. There are about 25 teaching staff and well over 700 students. 

The college offers boarding facilities. Most students reside at the campus.
