Relatives and tribesman of the Late Graham Romanong have said they will not retaliate to what had has happened as it will only make matters worse. Elder brother of the deceased, Posu Manua stated that the loss of his brother was a loss of human resource but strongly feels that they should not interfere with the process of the law. “Displa youngla mahn husat em kam lusim laif lo hia em olsem human resource...but mi filim olsem mi noken kisim lo i kam bek long han blong mi” says Mr. Manua. Mr. Manua and 8 others travelled down to Lae upon hearing about the death of his brother and says that their coming to Lae was to observe the situation in which the Late Graham was in at the time of his death and to let the rest of the committees, elder brothers and chief back home know about what had happened. He said when coming down to Lae, their elders back in the village advised them to not retaliate but to just observe the situation as it is. Mr. Manua said that they are now waiting for the necessary arrangements to be made and will return home to receive the body from the students to lay the Late Graham Romanong to rest.
