Every year came and passed. Seconds adds up to minutes, and then to hours and days, and to years, decades, and centuries to as far as a millennium. And they have all vanished as if it was just a second in a lifetime. All the days seemed to remain the same even though our Westminster system replaces leaders every election in a span of five years. Time is not of our concern as the individual demands for every nation surpasses their existential capacity to fully afford them. And it waged the possible need for foreign influence in which we are loyally playing the neocolonialism narrative, merely to blend in, fall into the groove and survive. It is not the usual way of survival or a recommended way to operate with the global communities, but it is how the system is designed, and whether we like it or not will not always be the case to decide. Most of the powerful economies are very eager to remain at the top of the hierarchy in order to safeguard their interest. And their accomplishment gives them ample resources and power to quench their thirst for infiltration and dominance all year around. History points out that we have fallen into the hands of the newly established state of Australia, just so she can capitalize on our resources to prepare, strengthen, and nurture its independency. The Sydney Opera House was built from the uncharted gold supplied from Wau and Bulolo. The present day is heavily manipulated by the same old selfish states. They even narrow our potentials via policies, forcing us to be buyers (consumers) than producers despite our tremendous capability. We export raw crude oil to the powerful nations, lending them the resource to convert them to finish products and then we import them again, throwing our money away as if we had enough. When the Panguna mine was shut, PNG’s government agencies discovered that various chemicals and minerals (gold) were extracted apart from Copper as agreed. Countries that are permitted by the UNO to produce armaments and weapons of mass destruction have huge laboratories awaiting raw materials for processing. We must not be surprised to see the alienated powers competing for our resources. They need to be the first to feed their cravings. So when you talk about Papua LNG or K92 mine, Freda, or even Ok Tedi, just know that apart from mining the agreed minerals, many rare chemicals and substances are smuggled to their laboratories for lethal (nuclear weapons) productions in order for them to remain at the top and continue to influence the affairs of the third world nations. Beware citizens, beware.
