Lae's Bugandi Secondary School is on a one week suspension following a school fight this week.
The fight is an ongoing which the school has not come up with a resolution to address the issue. School Principle Mr Tony Gau said the fight has seen so many students injured, however it is no known the total number of students that were involved in the fight. Mr Gau said the school had come up with a plan last year to address the ongoing problem however, they have not really carried out the plan. Meanwhile, in another separate incident, Lae Metropolitan Commander Ivan Lakatani has confirmed that a total of seven students have been arrested and charged by the police over school fights. Four are from Bugandi Secondary and three are from Bumayong Secondary School.
