A trial into the election victory of Don Polye has begun this morning after an application by the Kandep MP to vacate the trial in the national court was refused.
The trial before Justice Joseph Yagi began with the petitioner and first witness Alfred Manase who has disputed the 2012 election results that gave victory to Mr. Polye. About 20 witnesses will be giving evidences for all parties starting today.
