A man has been found guilty of murdering another person after he suspected the deceased of killing his pig.
Allan Aiso from Kariuku District in Central Province was found guilty of spearing George Evi to death. Both men are from Aipeana Village. Justice Panuel Mogish handed down the ruling after a trial. Police reports indicate, the victim George Evi and one other, on the morning of May 5th last year, upon seeing the dead pig in a nearby garden decided to take it home and await the owner to come and see. They didn't know who killed the pig, but unfortunately when the owner, Aiso, arrived and without enquiring launched a spear at late Evi striking him at his left chest. The spear which contained a sharp knife at its end, remained stuck, and he died on the scene. Aiso awaits his sentencing submissions, and will now what penalty he will receive afterwards.
