In a new twist to the VONC motion against the PM filed by the opposition to office of the D/Speaker Aide Ganasi, the parliamentary committee has rejected it this morning stating it was defective although noting it was of national importance. Minister James Marape then raised a motion of confidence in the PM and gained 78 votes over 2 votes against it by Oro Governor GJ and Goilala MP. Parliament has been adjourned to the 3rd of November for the budget lock-up. Following the adjournment of Parliament today and the motion of a VONC rejected by the acting speaker, Opposition has accepted the decision this morning but says it will not stop there. Leader DP assured supporters said they will move for this motion soon but has challenged the PM to test his support by allowing the VONC on the floor of parliament. Polye claims that MP’s were forced not to support this VONC motion. Also the governor for Oro GJ called on MP’s to start listening to their peoples cry who are not happy with the current leadership of the PM.
