The old Bomana Turf racing club outside the nation's capital, is set to be built back to its former glory days, where horse racing took place.
Minister for Sports Pacific Games and National Events, Justin Tkatchenko told reporters, that the former race grounds are on State land, but now accommodating illegal settlers. Mr Tkatchenko says the title has been given to his Ministry, which is working to restore the turf club and introduce dog racing as well. He says, the illegal settlers will be removed for work to start immediately. Mr Tkatchenko says, the other part of this land, towards the Bomana Police College, will be used for the Police Department's housing redevelopment plan. Comments are closed.
