The Papua New Guinea Hunters Coach, Michael Marum, has urged fans to get behind the team, following a tough period of results in the Queensland Cup Rugby League Competition. The Hunters were thrashed 60-28, by Tweed Heads Seagulls at the weekend and have slipped to seventh in the overall standings, on the back of four straight defeats. They now have four home games in a row, beginning this Saturday against Sunshine Coast Falcons. Marum told Radio New Zealand International, despite the Falcons being bottom of the table, they will be on a high after winning their first game of the season last weekend. He says the Hunters need everyone to get to the games at the Kalabond Stadium, to show their support for the team. Comments are closed.
