PNG to oversee AusAID courses Source:
The National, Wednesday August 08th, 2012 SCHOLARSHIP PNG will be administering 470 health and education scholarships on behalf of AusAID. This will be in partnership with identified institutions for study in the country. The scholarships are available for five health and education programmes starting next year. They are bachelor of midwifery, bachelor or diploma of nursing, community health worker certificate and bachelor of education (secondary). The head of the Australian aid programme in PNG, Stuart Schaefer said: “Australia and PNG have a joint goal to improve health and education in PNG and that includes increasing the number and quality of health workers and teachers.” There are many scholarships that are available in the world today that either support only the scholarship recipient or other scholarships provide for your family members as well and it comes as a package. That means if you are lucky enough and strike a family supported scholarship you can take your entire family members for the duration of the scholarship; 2 years, 3 years, 4 years it does not matter. If however you win the single person scholarship, you will have to go alone and make sacrifices by way of leaving your family back in PNG or in Koare. Here are some scholarship opportunities that you can apply for and I am quite happy to provide more information in the coming weeks so you apply for many at the same time. Do not hold on to this useful information please, and those of us who have access to this forum or internet try and help relay this scholarship information to other Koare Konda Kids so that they too can try their best and apply and if they are successful I am sure they will add numbers to this very community forum. Here are the scholarship details:
