Treasurer Ling-Stuckey have been caught passing out bad cheques to try and bribe Members of Parliament to not leave government, and now the cheques have bounced and Marape is in crisis. Over half a billion Kina in cheques were printed prior to the Parliament sitting in December. These cheques were even caught on video at the Loloata Camp being passed out by Finance Minister Rainbo Paita. Then after Parliament had risen, these cheques bounced in the week before Christmas. Minister Ling-Stuckey is screaming at the bureaucrats, but the truth is that Marape and Ling-Stuckey knew that there was no money to back the cheques up. But they gave the cheques out to members of Parliament who they convinced there was money to be paid. This corrupt plan has now fallen apart really badly because the Supreme Court will decide in the coming weeks if Parliament will resume to properly hear the Vote of No-Confidence in Marape. The MPs and officials who were bribed with bad cheques are furious and are threatening to cross the floor unless they payments are not only made but are increased, but the government has run out of cash.
Now Ling-Stuckey is demanding that banks pay out these cheques regardless of whether there is cash to back the cheques up. When Parliament returns, be this in April, or at an earlier date if this is decided by the courts, Marape and Ling-Stuckey will be removed from office. This was demonstrated when Marape lost the vote in the Parliament and became a minority government. Marape has run out of options, there is no money left for bribes, and those who left government and joined the opposition and stayed there are not going back to Marape. Added to this, almost all of the senior Leaders who left in November and then crossed back, are ready to leave again. Most of these Members are on record as saying Marape is incompetent, and is destroying the country. Even Pundari said Marape is manipulating the Christin faith and treating it ‘like a rice or a tinned fish that you sell and trade in a trade store for personal gain.’ James Marape has lost his way, lost his support, been shamed as a liar and a failure by his own MPs, and will not survive the next sitting of Parliament as MPs leave him again.
