In 2015 Papua New Guinea from being a developing country moved to middle income earner under the PNC led- government. In economic terms, the country is rich in natural resources (forestry, agriculture, fisheries and minerals) and hast vast natural ecosystems hosting a unique range of biodiversity. PNG is ranked as a lower to middle income country.

There were more upgrades done to our existing airports and wharves, new bridges and roads were built. Renovations of school buildings and new structures built in Educational institutions and the list goes on. PNG has truly experienced a shift in development during ONeill's 8 year term replacing the colonial structures, upgrading existing structures and also new infrastructures built. PNC led government built more infrastructures than any other government in our history.
