There is a gulf of difference between you and our Prime Minister Hon James Marape. He is PM and you are not. Alternate Prime Ministers in countries such as ours, there is certain decorum expected of leaders in the capacity you are in are required to conduct themselves especially when they go out into public forum such as this to vent their frustrations, if not, pick an issue of currency to score political capital against their foes. On this one where your intent for political malice is resoundingly clear, you are picking unnecessarily on the PM over an issue that is well within his court to commit whatever help he could muster to announce an offer of humanitarian magnitude, including committing state services such as PNG Defense personnel and fire fighting services. It doesn't require a plan as you claim as an army officer would think it should be. The ADF already has a battle plan. All PM is intimating in his offer of assistance at the call of Australian PM Scott Morrison. It is quite in order for PM Marape telling PM Morrison of a fire-battle ready elemental force comprising both army and firefighters and other civic volunteers who could be marshalled for deployment when required by Australia. It is a statement by two leaders of countries and whether the Australian Diplomatic Head of Mission and Mission staff ought to know is quite immaterial and must not be the issue you think it is. They are as good as what Scott Morisson tells them to do. Assuming Morission agrees to Marape's offer, the Mission here gets straight into business to assist facilitate the admin arrangement for such an endeavor of goodwill to occur to the preference of both Marape and Morrison. Off course there would already been preparedness exercises taking place here or in Australia between ADF and PNGDF including Fire fighters from both countries. It is not a "disgusting lie" as you call it anymore. It is truth. When Australia says yes, it will happen. Your biggest personal problem that is ruining your ability to allow wise leadership to view compelling issues affecting the nation with sensibility and objectivity has been your irreconcilable past. You continue to consciously tell yourself to remove the soldier in you. Remove the "soldier" in you and perhaps you will be on the way to become PM one day so that you can be in a position Marape is in to talk about Australia. You dont run Murray Barracks wildly anymore. More wise and reasonable people are now trying to put back the military that you single-handedly destroyed. Following the spirit of cooperation PNGDF, ADF and Australian Federal Police played out during APEC 2018, already setsca firm template for cooperation to take place. That template minus your "army officer" experience is there to consider. Lastly, please save yourself some calories, do not feel "bad" about a "disgusting lie" because there isnt one from PM Marape. You had the opportunity to be PM, available to you in the morning of August 2011 when you moved a defective motion on the floor of Parliament which was entertained by late Jeffrey Nape as Speaker. What happened there and you are still fluttering your shameless feathers on the alternate side of the house. The wiser lots after are all in government. You are a total shame upon the collective intelligents of Sandaun and Vanimo Green.
