Many of the feminism theorists embark the importance of how one identifies its gender. Gender is usually identified and taught by parents. As the child grows, the environment and media also plays an immense role in self-recognition. At the beginning, gender is learned and imparted. As a child, caregivers decide the type of outfit one wears. Fancy skirts and shirts engraved by flowers, red, purple and yellow colours are chosen for girls while brown, black and blue pants and tops are purchased for boys. Boys are allowed to have toys like cars and guns while girls play around with baby dolls and balls. This aids a child in realising its stance and continues to grow with the understanding. When growing up, males are allowed to do manual work while girls are allowed to wash plates, sweep and provide care for little siblings. Females are raised to be at the inferior end and provide the necessities a male can benefit from. Thus, the media intervenes and plays an even greater role to subjugate the equality theory and makes the female an entertaining complement. A female in a movie is depicted in a sexualized manner to please the males behind the screen. The camera is concentrated at the female’s curves to satisfy the male viewers. A female usually awaits the male for rescue at the end, making the male a saviour and a true guardian where females can trust. Lyrics in songs also mention stanzas like ‘ I’m gonna make you my pet,’ ‘ I’m gonna give you what you want,’ ‘I’m gonna transplant you’ and so forth have a sole purpose to highlight the difference. Looking from a theoretical perspective, if caregivers choose similar items for both genders and allow them to contribute equally in a household, a sense of inferiority and dominance would not have emerged. There would be no dissimilarity and that a female can participate equally as the male counterpart. But earlier mankind realised that if females can partake as equivalent as the males, chaos would have emerged with conflict of interest between the human species for ownership and leadership. So gender-differences were fabricated at the beginning to the time when rationing capability was ripe. We still have the opportunity to change the fairy-tale. Educate the child with fairness at the start. Choose equal clothing for the child. Distribute family labour equally. And when the female child is grown up, forbid to dress pure feminist. Dressings with tiny shorts and tight pants are constructed to make the female specie a complement to the male specie. Hence, omit the ideology as we might voluntarily promote the created sexualisation theory. The writer of this article is full of shit. Stop peddling first world delusions here. Its unnecessary. Talk about big things like the very low literacy level in our country. Things that will result in tangible change.
