The National Women’s Forum 2015 is just one sleep away and already delegates have arrived for the key event.
“One of the key priority action plans as per last year’s resolutions was fostering a mentoring relationship between different organizations and individuals, particularly youths.” For that matter, youths will play a big role in the National Forum that has been organized by the United States Embassy in Port Moresby. According to the Information Assistant Sophie Yaruso, all 6 universities nationwide have representatives for the 3 day forum. “In total, there are 47 youth leaders from the Divine Word University, University of Goroka, University of Technology, University of Natural Resources and Environment, Pacific Adventist University and the host city University of Papua New Guinea respectively.” “This is sure to be an enlightening experience for all participants that attend.” Meanwhile Ms Yaruso added, the total number of those who have registered for the forum now stands at over 200 and already the delegates and key speakers have checked in for early pre-registration.
