The Gazelle MP and Police Minister, says he will put tuition fee monies for tertiary students for his electorate as loans for parents to borrow against. Jelta Wong says he does not believe in free handouts and will park the money with the East New Britain Savings and Loan Society. He says the district's education sector has allocated K300,000.00 to be parked with the East New Britain Savings and Loans Society for tuition fee loans, however, he's pushing to have this amount increased to K1m. Mr Wong says this money will only be available to people of his district who have children registered at local schools. NBC News Comments are closed.
