Parents and guardians of students attending UNITECH have been assured that their safety is not an issue following the ETHNIC CLASH which resulted in the cancellation of classes.
Minister responsible, Francis MARUS assured Parliament following questions by Lae MP, Loujaya KOUZA that Police together with the conflicting tribes have resolved the matter together with the assistance of the University itself. The Minister was pleased to announce that UOG students have successfully commenced classes, with UNITECH to commence at the end of this month, while UPNG students will return to class by early September.
