Two men form Enga Province have been killed at the Laloki boom gate just outside Port Moresby this week.
According to a relative of the decease, the two men were out looking for betel-nut when they met their fate. The relatives say they are yet to identify the suspect and the cause of their death, and brushed a side rumors that they were killed by the Goilalas who reside there. There was a wide spread of text messages this week which claim that the Engans in retaliation killed more than ten Goilalas at Laloki. The relative who wish to remain anonymous said, the text message is not true and have urged people not to believe it. NCD Police are aware of the incident involving the two Engans, but were not aware of the text message, and they said they will investigate. Meantime the body of the two Engans are at the Port Moresby General Hospital Morgue.
