PNGRFL Chairman Sandis Tsaka has reminded the PNG media fraternity and the country in general that Ipatas Cup CEO Timothy Lepa has no direct affiliation with PNGRFL Inc.
The PNGRFL head sent a media statement to all media organizations yesterday expressing his distaste for Mr Lepa’s actions stating that, “Mr Lepa’s action in trying to legally incriminate the former PNG Head coach has in no way helped to further the resolve of PNGRFL and will in no way bring about positive change in the game both domestically and internationally.”
He further stated that Coca-Cola and the Ipatas Cup are both independent entities that have been made to look as though he is acting in the interest of these two reputable entities. Mr Tsaka made it clear that Mr Lepa is not acting on behalf of these two organizations and that he is acting as an independent person.
