Mr Fairweather formerly won the Sumkar Open seat under the PNC party left and joined the middle benches but recently joined Ben Micah’s Peoples Progress Party. He said the Opposition has tried four different times to change the Government but failed all through and urged the Opposition to forget playing politics but get to work. He said he will not support any more vote of no confidences if the Opposition brings up another one. However the grace period for any vote of no confidences lapses on Wednesday, July 27th which is 12 months before the return of writs. Mr Fairweather said during a press conference after the Opposition was defeated by the Government that the Parliament has spoken when 85 members have decided to retain him (Peter O’Neill) as the Prime Minister. He said the people including the Opposition, the pilot and doctors to recognise the parliament’s decision.
