Parliament Speaker Theo Zurenuoc, will host a special luncheon prayer gathering at Parliament House this afternoon, to mark the 7th National Repentance and Prayer Day.
This morning, hundreds of residents in Port Moresby, gathered at the Parliament as early as 4 o'clock to pray and worship. Senior Pastors of different churches including mainline, evangelical and Pentecostal led with prayers as the faithfuls sang songs or worship and praise. The pastors asked for forgiveness and mercy for all citizens including politicians, heads of government departments, Churches and public servants among others.
