Leader of Triumph Heritage Empowerment Party and former Treasurer Don Polye says, it is the prerogative of the Prime Minister, to commission and decommission ministers and he respects that. Mr. Polye says, he and his Party, respects Mr. O'Neill's decision, however, maintains doing no wrong. "I do not wish to go down in answering the details of whatever the reasons maybe. "What I've said is that the Prime Minister has the prerogative to make the decisions and I respect that. "But one thing I want to make clear is that, I made no mistake, I make no wrong, my conscience is very very clear. "Not just now. In the past, (and) in the far past and in the recent past and in the present time, my conduct in serving Papua New Guinea - the 7-point-8 million people of this country, putting the interest of the nation in front of me, in putting the solidarity and serving the stabililty of the O'Neil-Dion Government," Mr. Polye said. Mr Polye says, he will continue his role as the Chairman of I-M-F and World Bank as well as the Member for Kandep and THE Party. He says THE Party was an integral part of the solidarity and the formation of the current government and will continue to maintain political and economic stability for the good of the country. The Party Parliamentary Wing made its resolution known to the Prime Minister this morning, that despite the sacking of their leader and his deputy Southern Region and former Minister for Labour and Industrial Relations Mark Maipakai, they remain intact with the Government.
