Treasurer, Done Polye says, public servants pay increase of 7.5 per- cent has been budgeted for.
Polye said this, when brushing aside public outcry over Government having a 2.5-billion Kina deficit in its 2014 national budget and not being able to pay the increase. He states, the Government will ensure its budget is implemented as planned, including the public servants pay hike. Most government workers have received their 7.5 per cent increase on their first fortnight last week, while others still waiting, can expect to be paid either this week or next. Comments are closed.
