Parliament this afternoon prevented Opposition Leader Don Polye from presenting documents showing records on the use of millions of Kina allocated for the Sepik Plains Agriculture Project.
A majority vote of 61 opposed Mr. Polye presenting the documents. According to Polye the report shows details of how 50-million Kina, allocated for Sepik Plains agriculture project, was used. Yesterday, the Opposition Leader alleged the the Government of misusing the money. The Opposition Leader this afternoon, maintained his position to seek answers from Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister Richard Maru on the whereabouts of the money.
