Papua New Guineans must never forget that they have but one country to live for and build, Prime Minister Hon. Peter O’Neill said this week.
Prime Minister Hon. Peter O’Neill was speaking at the FM100 Talk Back Show this week responding to questions from all over the country on his leadership, the politics of PNG and his legacy as chief executive officer of PNG. "We must never forget that we have but only one country, therefore, our politics must be done in a way it will benefit PNG and building our nation but not personal attack and petty issues that will not benefit the nation should be done away with," he said this week. "Yes our Government is not a perfect one, we will make mistakes along the way, we will continue to make mistakes into the future but we acknowledge that and we will correct it as we go," he said. "But the fact is that politics is never an easy game. "There will always be people out there who will oppose, doesn’t matter what good you do. "They will always oppose for the sake of opposing and playing politics for the sake of playing politics is just fine, but I want to say this to our people that we must never forget that we only one country, that is PNG, we must build a better future for our children."
