Port Moresby based Police investigators moved into Lae to investigate the shooting under the direction of director of crimes Peter Guinness. Mr. Guinness said, police are now able to identify the prime suspect in the killing. However, declined to state whether the prime suspect was from the Police or from the Guard Dog Security Services. The investigations are still ongoing about a young mother who lost her life through brutal shooting in a car chase. It happened when Ms Pisimi was reportedly driving at high speed, prompting a chase by the Guard Dog Security inspection vehicle and a police unit. The chase started at Dragon night club at downtown Lae and passed Lae central police station on Coronation Drive, along Huon Road then to Cassowary Road to China Town, China town police station and to Malahang. It was past the Majestic Seafood Tuna factory that the vehicle driven by the victim was stopped and fired on. The young mother Moana Pisimi was shot dead at the back of her head with a powerful weapon. Police will move in and arrested the prime suspect and will make media statement during the week.
