PNG’s local economy will receive a boost on Monday when 13 IT business operators graduate from the month-long Australian Business Volunteers flagship mentoring program, “Your Enterprise Scheme” (YES).
Facilitated by two Australian business experts, the program is designed to raise the skills of business owners of micro, small and medium enterprises through management workshops and one-on-one mentoring. Australian Business Volunteers (ABV) is a not-for-profit international development organisation that achieves its mission through its volunteers. ABV has over 30 years’ experience in international development and has completed more than 5,000 projects across 34 countries in Asia and the Pacific. With more than 800 business experts registered to volunteer, ABV programs have evolved and adapted to include entrepreneurial, business and governance training through customised programs with larger corporations and governments.
