Prime Minister, Peter O’Neill, is preparing to welcome Japan's Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, to Papua New Guinea.
Mr Abe, his wife, and a huge delegation of over 200 from the government and private sector, as well as the Japanese media, arrive this afternoon. Peter O'Neill says the visit is another step in the ongoing strengthening of relations between both nations. He says the visit by Prime Minister Abe and his business delegation will result in further investment and commerce. During the visit, the Prime Ministers and their delegations will discuss issues relating to bilateral, regional and global cooperation. These will include the Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement, the Technical Cooperation Agreement, and Multiple Entry Visa for Short-term Stay and Waiver of Visa. Comments are closed.
