Papua New Guinea Prime Minister James Marape has assured that the national government will provide the funding needed to conduct the elections in June. Mr Marape gave this assurance yesterday after a briefing with the Acting Electoral Commissioner on election preparation. According to Mr Sinai, the Commission would need K400 million for election operations, which includes electoral roll programme, polling and counting.
