The Papua New Guinea Immigration & Citizen Authority PNGICA has called on former Members of Parliament, State Ministers and all Government Officials who are no longer holding public office to return valid Official Passport and/or Diplomatic Passport in your possession within 14 days. The Official and Diplomatic Passports are travel documents issued to Government Officials, Members of Parliament and State Ministers who are actively holding public office. You must return this official travel documents once you exit the office. The regulation and conditions of Diplomatic Passports and its bearer is enshrined under the Vienna Convention. As at the date of the release of this notice, you must surrender your valid Official and/or Diplomatic Passport to the Office of the Chief Migration Officer, PNG Immigration and Citizenship Authority (ICA), Central Government Office, within 14 days. Immigration Officers at Jacksons International Airport and other Border Posts will confiscate your travel document and deny your exit when you make any international travel using Official Passports after 19th of May 2023.
