Hundreds of local contractors in the National Capital District have given the National Department of Education until the end of this week to pay their outstanding claims.
The contractors fronted up at the Education headquarters in Port Moresby this week, demanding immediate answers from the Minister and Secretary, for claims they had helped with, in delivering various education programs in Port Moresby. Spokesman, David Gali, told N-B-C News, he waited four years for his claim of over 250-thousand Kina, but there are others totaling millions.
