Prime Minister Peter O' Neil has again conveyed Papua New Guinea's condolences to the people of the Netherlands, who lost their loved ones in the recent M-H-17 tragedy over Ukraine.
This time through the new envoy of the Kingdom of Belgium to Papua New Guinea, Jean-Luc Bodson, while he paid him a courtesy call on Tuesday. Prime Minister O' Neil said people around the world stand united in their grief and disbelief at what happened to the flight. He said the United Nations Security Council resolution offers hope that the bodies of the victims are respectfully removed from the crash site, and a thorough crime scene investigation takes place. Meanwhile, the remains of 40 people from Malaysia Airlines flight, MH17 have arrived in the Netherlands. Two military aircraft including an RAAF plane from Australia have flown the bodies to Heighthooven Air Base. Comments are closed.
