Papua New Guinea authorities are investing the reports of people getting fully vaccinated but dying due to corona virus. Port Moresby General Hospital Head of Obstetrics and Gynecology Professor Glen Mola, has told the NBC Government Talk Back show that investigation is now underway. Professor Glen Mola, says people need to be aware that one vaccination is not enough to protect against one from the virus. Professor Mola explains that people can still get COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated.
He adds the vaccine is to minimize the risks of severe infection and death. Professor Mola says it does not stop persons from getting infected again, hence it is better to get some level of protection than to fully expose yourself to the virus.
