Parliament has been suspended to 22nd of March next year.
Parliament's rising avoids the proposed Vote of No Confidence introduced by the Opposition yesterday. After sitting for the morning question without notice session, and the passing of the Savings and Loans Society Bill, the House adjourned to 2 pm for the afternoon session. The afternoon session started after 2 pm with members of both sides attending, but the Deputy Speaker ruled the rise of Parliament until next year. It is understood that the proposed No Confidence Motion was also deliberated on by the Special Parliamentary Committee during the break, but could not get details on what had transpired from that meeting
