An urgent court hearing of Paul Paraka to stop police from arresting him has been adjourned to next week.
The case went this morning before Judge Justice Ere Kariko but was again adjourned as State lawyers needed time to prepare. Justice Kariko last week Thursday issued a temporary restraining order to the Police Fraud Squad from arresting Mr Paraka until the application was heard.. This case relates to millions of kina allegedly paid by the state to Paul Paraka Lawyers after two Supreme Court Orders stopped payments from being made. Mr Paraka has also filed several applications before the National and Supreme Courts to stop Task Force Sweep from carrying out further investigations. Comments are closed.
