Herman Mandui, who's also the Deputy Director of Science and Research of the National Museum and Art Gallery, died yesterday after a short illness.
He was known for his most pioneering researches including the Kuk Prehistoric site in Jiwaka, Early Human Settlement in the Ivane valley of Goilala in the Central Province, and the most recent findings of the Lapita Pottery. Late Herman was also in the forefront of the National Museum and Art Gallery's Impact and Salvage Archaeology. He is survived by three children and partner, Pauline.
